My fiance and I are getting married in June and we rented a house in the Finger Lakes for the wedding. 

We rented it last Sept. and gave a $1500 deposit to a man named HANK DEAN  at a company called "Finger Lakes Guesthouses". He also owns "Watkins Glen Guesthouses". Hank said he was finishing off some renovations and the house would be gorgeous and ready with time to spare for our spring wedding. He said it was 9 bedrooms, patio, wedding gazebo, full deck, game room, gym, etc.  He sent us an extensive floor plan. 

 We asked to visit the house or see pics and he'd say "a few more weeks" and "its almost done".  He did this for months.  Unwilling to wait any longer, we finally drove 6 hours from our apartment last weekend to the Finger Lakes, without Hank knowing, and found the house in SHAMBLES.  There were windows and doors and that's about it.  It was the skeleton of a house, that was months and months and months away from being ready.  HE LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING. 

 We had to re-plan our entire wedding with 2 months notice, and pay double to get another house.  We nicely explained to him that it doesn't look like the house will be ready on time, and he keeps saying it will be "no problem" to give our money back, but he still hasn't.  We also have emails from him stating that we can get our money back up to two months before the reservation, so even if there was a house, we are entitled to a refund.

 THERE IS NO HOUSE.  He has ROBBED us and RUINED our wedding.  There are other similar reports on him, that detail his failure to give people back the money they rightfully deserve!  I am APPALLED! I didn't know people could be SO LOW.

This is Lori M's 2nd posting.

Placed here to appear that there are multiple complaints, whereas there is only one, from her.

Today is April 17... her stay is not until June, but she claims that I ruined her wedding somehow.

This individual is conducting a public character assassination.

Her "Report" is full of misinformation, misleading statements and outright lies. The only truth to her story is that the house is under construction.

Her stay is still 2 months away and her deposit was processed immediately upon her cancellation and request.

It has been mere days since that request and she is already busy on the internet, slamming our property.

A lawsuit against Lori Masuda, the author of this defamatory move has begun.

She somehow believes that she can speed up the refund by extorting us on the web, actually believing she can simply remove her posting. 

Her intent to cause financial and other damages is evident by her posting MULTIPLE entries over ONE issue, and in multiple locations on the internet.

Updates will be added, with the progress of the suit.
