Fire & Safety Chimney "High Flue-ting Ripoff!!" We were charged $1900 for complete relining of our chimney in 2007. Just found that only 24 inches were relined. Centereach , New York

We were solicited chimney cleaning services in 2007 by Fire & Safety Chimney Service. After the initial consult we were told we needed our chimney completely relined. We paid $1900 in full to have this service performed. We were told we also needed to have our brick work redone and that the workers would return to do this. We never heard from the company again and tried to re-contact them. We made many attempts to contact them calling the 1-800-817-6992 number on their invoice. There is never any answer nor is there a voice mail. We recently had another company give us an estimate on the necessary brick work.  They informed us and showed us with mirrors that our chimney was never relined.
