I had an appointment to have brakes installed; I also requested a tire rotation (tires purchased at Firestone) and new wiper blades. My car was in the garage and on the lift for at least 2 hrs. and 10 mins. before I was told that I needed brakes, but they did not have the parts, that they could get them in an hour, then 10 minutes later, the brakes would not be there until tomorrow. I was told that the delay was due to the computer search for parts, which makes no sense. They also told me that there was a brake special for $99 that would apply, but when giving me the actual price, told me my car was not eligible. During my wait the manager had his wife and 18 mo. child and visitors in the store, it appeared that the office staff was not focused and certainly not giving complete attention to their duties. When I picked my car up the next day, the wipers had not been installed and when I complained the manager denied anything was done improperly and got particularly upset when I mentioned my observation from the day before, my long wait, the lack of customer service and my impression that they had been messing around.  The manager, rather than address my concerns in a professional manner,  told me that I was a liar and not to come back to his store and for whatever reason, also said that he had called me 2 hours prior and I had  just arrived to pick up my car. Actually he had called me 1.5 hours earlier, I had to get a ride and I live 30 mins. from the store. This doesn't matter; it just further demonstrates his lack of professionalism and defensive attitude. In summation, in addition to the insults and poor customer service, 2.5 hours is too long to get a response on brakes, the wipers were not installed and I certainly do not have any confidence that my tires were rotated. I am a 65 year old professional working woman and have never experienced such poor customer service or been so rudely insulted at a retail store. This is the first time in my life that I have made a complaint of this sort, because it REALLY upset me. I realize that each store reflects the manager and this guy needs some training!
