First Approval Benefits RIPOFF, Dishonest, Very Missleading They promised me a card took my money and gave me the runaround Fort Lean New Jersey

I was called on behalf of First Approval Benefits and was promised a Visa or Mastercard with the credit limit of 2,500.00. They told me that 269.00 would be debited from me for a one time processing fee.

The 269.00 was taking out of my Carrollton Bank account on the 20th of March 2003. They told me that the package would mailed out on the day the money was withdrawn and it would take 15 business days to recieve the package.

I said that was fine. So I waited and waited as a month passed by so I called there 1-800-274-0701 number and spoke to the same 3 or 4 people everytime.

I called for the first time on 7th of April and they said that I should recieve it no later then the 14th of April. So I waited untill the 14th of April and called them back.

I asked them what was the hold up and was the package sent U.S mail and they told me no it was sent Through Fedex. So I said can I get a tracking number to track the package and they said they did not have it available.

So I waited until the next day late afternoon to call them and they told me that the file sent to them with all of the tracking numbers was old and that I have to wait until tomorrow to call back.

So once again I waited and called them the very next day. This time they told me it was not available once again. So I asked to speak to a Supervisor and they told me that they do not accept incoming calls.

Then they asked me if they could take a message from me and a Supervisor would call me back. So I said yes and please tell them to call me A.S.A.P. and they said ok

Finally, I called today 04/17/03 to speak to someone and once again they do not have a tracking number. I said can I please get your address of your company. Then they gave it to me and I

asked them about getting a refund and they said that the order was too old and that it was non-refundable and that the package that was sent out was not a Visa or Mastercard but info or getting one.

So, I basically couldn't do anything else and just wrote down all the info I could and hung up and that was the end.
