First Capital Consumers ripoff Bel Air Maryland

A company by the name of first (1st capital consumers) called my home on 6/22/02 and said for the price of $199.99 I can receive a Visa and MasterCard both having the limit of $2,000.00, They debited my checking account on 6/26/02 and said that I will receive my credit cards in 10 - 14 business days.

On 8/3/02 I received a packet from this same company with all sorts of credit card and other programs in it. I called the phone number that was in the packet (416-488-????) and spoke to a rude woman asking me for a pin number, I told her that I never received a pin number and she kept on telling me I need a pin number! She was very unprofessional and I asked to speak with a manager/supervisor, she said there was no supervisor there. I then asked to speak to someone other than herself. The woman then hung up the phone on me.

I called back and spoke to a different woman and told her I want to know where my credit cards are, and she asked if I received the packet. I told her I didn't ask for any packet, I was told I was to be sent two credit cards. The woman told me you have to apply from the information within the packet. I told her I want my money back. She then gave me the number to the accounts dept. The man in that department told me to fax them a letter saying I would like my account refunded and my money would be credited in my checking.

After waiting for my Money to be credited to my account, I called back and asked about it. The woman said I first had to send back the packet and then I would receive my refund. I spoke to the woman on 8/30/02 from customer service and she said that it would be 5 to 10 business days after they received the packet, for me to be refunded. It is now 9/15/02 and I have not been refunded.
