A week ago My fiance received a telephone call on a credit card. Now, we have 2 already, but we are trying to reastablish our credit and this offer was for a $2000.00 limit. Well they inquired about all the usual information (Address, employment, annual income, and so on. Well they stated that they needed a 1 time fee of $199.00 and the card would be sent within 7-10 days. They even had someone call back and verify the info. and to assure that all info that was given was correct. Well, we tried to contact them by phone, and the # was forwarded to a voice mail. We called "00" info. to see if there was another number listed and there wasn't even a Company with the name we gave themlisted. That is when we got on-line and found this site and others who claimed that they were scammed. We were horrified!! Never had we been the center of someone's sick ideas. Well, you know the story from here. We rushed to the bank and changed ALL the accounts, check cards, and so forth and now...... Our mission is to foreward this site and the "so called company" to everyone we know, plus ABC,CBS,NBC and anyone else who will listen. That company is still out there. All this happened 6/15/02. I would like to Thank the person(s) who made this site and those who participated in it. We had no idea and if we didn't come across this site, well we would still be waiting on "that credit card".
