First Consumer National Bank For Newport News ripoff uncooperative I will never order from Newport News again Old Bethpage New York

I have been ripped off! While trying to obtain a line of equity loan, I received a credit report showing that I have an unpaid balance of $220 to Newport News.

When I called Newport News to find out why they are reporting that I still owe them $220, they gave me a phone number for FCNB and state they have nothing to do with this credit card.

I proceed to call this automated system that only gives me an address. There is no operator or customer service there to solve the problem.

I then called Newport News again to get some help with this problem. I figure it is there job, considering that I, in good faith, ordered there product and accepted there credit offer. I also faithfully paid my bill every month until it was paid off.

I have mailed requests to the address provided for FCNB as well as the president of Newport News, Gerlaynn Madonna for assistance in this matter. I have not gotten any response from either of these places.

I see now, after reading other rip off reports that I am going to have to take this up with the credit bureau. I will never again accept a credit card from any mail order catalog. It is too much of a pain in the --- to have to fix their problems.
