First Consumers National Bank ripoff late payment charges - the new payment address and some info on getting some of the charges removed Beaverton Oregon

I hope I help someone & am sure I will po someone else. But here it goes. I stumbled upon this site earlier today. I learned that many FCNB customers payments had not been processed as mine due tomorrow but sent in 2 wks ago also never late until now.

I have been following FCNB's downfall since last year. I unfortunately had a feeling this would happen this way but reluctently just watched. I did call the 516 # today and spoke to a woman stating they "Card Processing Center" (she would give another name stating she couldn't comment on anything) just took over the accounts July 1st, 2003. I also was told as many of you that there is a new payment address (PO BOX 5811 HICKSVILLE, NY 11802)and why they didn't let us the consumers know this ahead of time she wasn't allowed to comment.

However, I unlike some of you understand the position these people are in as they are trying to make a living legally, too & they aren't Spiegel, FCNB or anyone else who has screwed us. She stated all late charges for this mth should be dismissed from our accounts but should it happen to be applied to write to the address {Card Processing Center PO BOX 9204 OLD BETHPAGE,NY 11804} and the charge will be remove.

The payments from the old FCNB ADDRESS IN BEAVERTON,OR ARE BEING FORWARDED THAT IS THE REASON FOR A DELAY. They know it is not our fault but FCNB's. So please take a few deep breaths & rest assured your credit is ok. This is life & these things happen when top management fails.

This is another thing the Vice Chair & CEO of Spiegal{which FCNB was Spiegels credit card subsidary name} filled a claim w/ the Securities department in February 2003 stating their intent to forclose. His name & # is Martin Zaepfel 630-986-8800 or if you can't get him there try calling or writing Spiegel as they really are the ones to blame.
