I received a call from a woman by the name of Barbara who said she was calling from first guardian national (which I have now learned also goes by the name first capital) She let me know that I had been pre approved for a mastercard with a credit limit of $2000 as long as I met the requirements. I had to be at least 18 yrs. of age, make over $900 a month and have a valid checking acct. which I answered yes to all. I had to make a one time payment of $199.00 and my card would be issued within two weeks of receiving the payment.

My payment of $199 was deducted from my account on 8/14 of this year. After a month had passed I called the number that I had been given 416-921-7440 and spoke with a representative who informed me that my card would be issued once I received and signed my acceptance form that would be arriving in the mail shortly. I received the card, signed my name and mailed it in. Three weeks after that date with still no card, I called the number again to find that it had been changed to... 416-488-0219, I got an answering machine, left my name, number, pin number and brief message. The next day still no call back, I called the number again to find that it no longer existed.

After lots of help from my credit union I received the name of the bank in California that my funds had been transferred to and a phone number in which to call to find out more about this fraudulant company. I was able to speak with a gentleman at a place called "United Capture Dyne" who is now in the process of trying to have my funds put back into my account.

This has been a very embarrassing and hard lesson to learn. I have never been the victim of a scam until now and would like to help anyone who has been the victim of this fraudulant company.

Good Luck to all who have been victimized by these people and please if you receive a call from any such company, do not give out any of your information to them.
