We went to a popular, upscale restaurant, 'Eddie V's', one evening to enjoy a nice dinner. After we ate our dinner, we went outside and turned in our ticket to the valet. The valet service is directly in front of the restaurant, and really, you use it because there is no other place to park.

So, we're waiting for our car, and it's taking awhile... I'm talking to my husband about where they park the car and such...I decided, in an ironic coincedence, to ask the guy at the valet stand where they park the cars. He says in a secured lot.

I continue speaking to my husband, and we continue waiting, the car finally arrives, it took about 30 min., and he's about to get into the driver's side door, while I'm around the side about to get into the passenger side door.

Then, he asks "Was this here before?"...I'm just knowing something has happened. There it was, a huge dent in the side of my beautiful classic car, with not a SCRATCH on it!!! The guy driving the car didn't even know what to say, he just sat there bumbling around, acting like he had NO idea where it came from.

So, I decided to make sure EVERYONE KNEW what had happened. I start to yell, and asking what the hell happened!! They are were scrambling around trying to figure out what to do with this irrate woman. ( I could see they were trying to say that someone ELSE hit me, not their neglegence, but I shouted, that it had to be them since it was in THEIR secured lot)

Long story short, night manager, head manager, guy who 'owns' the valet come to me (he didn't own it, just ran that location). I file reports, we take pictures, YES we had our digital camera with us, thank God!

It's been about 2 months now. I've had the car repaired, but it took some effort to get that done, and he FINALLY reimbusred us for the rental car. So, technically, he's done all that's necessary to complete this issue, but I will NEVER park my car with them again. Mr. David Coleman is RUDE and not helpful at all. I've only gotten the impression of a SHADY BUSINESSMAN from him. He's got a bad BBB reprt.

I wouldn't recommend ever using their service, especially if you are not ready to pay for the issue yourself. I ended up having to pay to repaint the whole car because the parts of the body they replaced woudln't have matched right. (my taste in cars is high, and if I've got a classic it wont look like cr*p)

They've made me VERY afraid of ever using a valet again. In fact, I'll NEVER take my beautiful baby out to dinner, all because I'm TERRIFIED that the valet company won't care and it'll happen again.

Dear T,

We regret any difficulties you may have experienced while using our service. As noted in your complaint, the vehicle was repaired. Though we do use a secure facility to park our vehicles in, we are not the only people parking in the facility. It is regrettable that others who cause damage to someone elses property do not accept responsibility for their actions. As indicated on our tickets, we do not accept responsibility for the actions of a third party, yet we made an exception in your case and went above and beyond our obligation to you. Seeing as the damages were on the passenger side of the vehicle, the attendant returning your vehicle would not have seen the damages as he would have entered your vehicle on the drivers side. As you can imagine, in any setting, people will respond in various ways to someone screaming at them. Fortunately, our on site manager was able to attend to your concerns immediately.

We hope that you give us a second chance so that we can regain your trust.
