These people are crooks! Run from this bank. I've had two accounts with them and I can tell you from experience they are the worst. Their website is a joke, no automatic payments. This last time with them, my credit had improved to the point where I have accounts with AmEx and Chase but I needed a bit of extra cash for a few months so I took their ridiculous deal of $175 fee for opening an $700 account figuring I would pay it off and have it around for emergencies. My bank declined payment to them because of what they thought was suspicious activity at the time and they closed my credit account! No letter, no phone call, nothing! I didn't even know until I went to log in to my account and couldn't get in, I had to call customer service to find out they had closed my account. My complaints to the customer service agent fell on deaf ears as I explained all this to her she not once said I'm sorry or let me try to fix this, unbelievable!

I am convinced that this company is a scam that preys on people with lower credit scores. They charge you the $175 and then close your account. Do yourself a favor and get a secured card from a major bank like C***** O**. No matter how much you want a credit card this bank is not the one.

Your reasoning does not make sense

AUTHOR: Robert - (USA)

POSTED: Sunday, February 14, 2016

You have good enough credit to have a couple of other credit cards.  Yet, in order to get about an extra $500 instead of taking it from these cards you figured it was a better idea to open an a High-Fee, High-Interest, Sub-Prime card.

You say you didn't have enough available on these other cards?  Then why didn't you ask them for a credit line increase.  If they were in good standing and you explained to them the reason there would have been a very good chance that they would have granted such a small amount.   If you tried that and they declined, why didn't you apply for other "standard" cards?

But then we get to your "complaint".  You claim that your bank rejected the payment.  Perhaps this happened but where is the complaint about your bank who just arbitratrily cancels payments without contacting you by phone.  With my banks when ever there is suspiscious activity I am either sent a text or called by phone before they "reject" anything.

Look, I would never get a FP premier card even if it was a "last resort".  So yes none of your reasoning in this makes sense, which of course leads people to think that you are failing to tell the entire story.  So what is the full story here?

Since you say you have good credit, why would you want to be so generous and get a high interest rate, subprime credit card?
