I am a single mother of three children , who just recently filled out applications on line for school grants. A couple days later I get a phone call from a Indian woman telling me that I could receive a school grant in the sum of $5000.00 if I would just verify some information for her to give me the grant.

I did and when she started to ask me about a bank account I asked her why she needed to know any information about my bank account and she said it was only to verify that I was who I said I was. So. being gullable I verified everything with her and then she said that she would have someone call me back to verify all my information.

Approximately 5 mins later a man called back with a very bad accent and started to ask me questions about my bank acccount and the bank account number and things of that sort. I stopped the phone call and said I am not giving you my bank account number, I can not afford any money to be taking out. He said" OH NO I will not take anything out of your account , It is just for verification." Ya Right.

A couple days later I checked my bank account and it was $69.95 shorter than it was the day before. So , I called the bank and they gave me the number to call for the company that took money out, which I did. I sat on hold for about 20 mins and finally someone came to the phone and I explained the situation and demanded to hear the recording that I agreed for their company to take money out well, he told me to call back tomorrow so I could her the recording that I agreed for FIRST USA FINANCIAL to withdraw funds from account.

The next day I called back and the same guy answered and let me hear the recording. Yes it was me on the recording BUT I did not answer thoose questions that they had me answer on the recording. The tape was a complete bothch and fraud. It sounded as if they recorded my conversation and played against another one with me answering tes to all the questions. DCont let them do this to you. I closed my bank account so no more funds could be taken out. Also they are on the Bettter Business Bureau Reports. Look it up and file a complaint with them also.
