Fish Headz sport fishing charters Captain Joel Piatek Outrageously rude customer service! It's like he wants to go out of business! St Clair Shores Michigan

   It all started when I was looking for a fishing charter for the st clairriver in Michigan. I randomly found fish headz charters. I called them up and got a trip booked! Cool! My buddies and I took off work and planned to go fishing. A couple day before the trip I finally got a hold of him again and found out he was in a fishing tournament and had to cancel. That's ok, It happens, so I rebooked another trip. After a month I finally get a hold of him again and he had to cancel again because of the tournament. I thought ok, maybe he shouldn't be booking trips when he knows he won't be able to fulfill his obligations to his customers. It dawned on me that he didn't take a deposit because he already knew that he probably wouldn't show.  After this point I decided to just go with another company but unfortunetly they were all booked up. They book up fast here. Ok lesson learned I'll try again next year but what came next confirmed my suspitions about him.

   A year later I saw a post on a facebook page from a guy planning on a charter and looking for reccommendation. I voiced my experience so the poor guy didn't plan a three day trip and get ditched for a tournament he could care less about. After that Joel's true colors shined through. He immediately joined the post and started calling me immature and unreasonable, which is false. I think if you book a service then it isn't unreasonable at all that you expect the people to follow through.  In a pathetic effort to make him not look like a scum bag he half heartedly offered a free trip. Yeah like I want to go out on a boat with someone who just insulted me because I expected some kind of customer service. No Thanks!

  Turning down his free trip must have been a blow to his ego because then he had his buddies join in with the name calling. How is this running a business?? Its amazing! He calls me immature but he is resorting to high schoolshname calling because I gave an honest opinion about his company?? How is this any kind of customer service?

  In closing, there are MANY charter services in Michigan. I suppose Joel is a decent fisherman.(He only took second place in his stupid tournament which doesn't make him the best) and if your flexible then I suppose fish headz could but you on some fish. If you have a tight schedule and have to plan months in advance for your trips then he isn't your guy. If you like facebook drama and being called a whiny little b***h for giving an honest review then go with fish headz. If you want to get out away from people like Joel and his buddies then stay FAR away from fishheadzcharters. If you don't kiss his a*s then he doesn't want your business! By the way, I was going to let it all go and give him the benifitof the doubt but then I woke up to a fresh batch of name calling. Nobody should have to deal with this from any kind of company!
