This started back in 2010 when I had tried to sell my home in Virginia when I found out I had PCS orders issued by the US Navy to move my family to Tinker AFB in Oklahoma.  We tried to sell the property until I had to leave my family behind in April of 2011.  We had to move out in June and move as a family to Oklahoma because we were losing too much money because the military bases your pay BAH off of where I am stationed not where my family is living.  We had a property manager while we were gone.  We had some bad tenants move in that barely paid the rent on time for an entire year.  We could not make any money off of this property nor could we sell because of how bad the housing market is there in Virginia Beach, VA.

Once the bad tenants moved out we had no one living in the home until late November 2012 and could not pay the rent until then, once we started collecting a rent check from them, I tried to pay it to Flagstar, but they had locked my account from making any payments along with the difficulty of being able to speak with anyone.  My first single point of contact was Mr. Rich Pizzurro.  He never confirmed that he had a complete package and therefore it was closed and reassigned to another single point of contact, which was Marina Carter who I was only able to talk to a couple times during the holidays.  The result was the same, they sent letters and I would ask them to call at certain times that I had access to my phone, but they would not call instead they called at the worst times during the day that I could not answer my phone because of my military duties.  I gave them numerous times permission to speak with my wife also, but would not work with her on my behalf.    My package was once again marked incomplete, file closed and reassigned to Kia Lor.  This became the same situation once again.

I was told over the phone that the reason(s) my packages were incomplete because they tell you to fax in the information, but can not read some of the documents so therefore it is incomplete.  I tried to mail it, but was told some of my documents were out of date because they took too long to process through their system.  I had been keeping my VA point of contact Jason Bracht well informed of everything that was going on with Flagstar.

Flagstar told my VA representative and my lawyer that I would hang up on them and would avoid their phone calls as the foreclosure approached.  This was a false statement by them as they would not contact me, my wife, my property manager, nor my lawyer and I would have no problem providing my phone records to show that they are lying.  Each of the people I listed to include my JAG Officer can tell you the extreme difficulty that Flagstar was not easy to get ahold of or even return a phone call in a timely manner.

The home was finally foreclosed on us on 22 May 2013 while we were dealing with the aftermath of the tornado here in Moore, OK.  I feel as though this bank is extremely abusive in how they handle their customers.  I had a submitted for a loan modification and also had a short sale offer for $152,000.00, which they refused and now the home is going on the market for $145,000.00 and sold for $148,011.00.  This bank knew it was a VA guaranteed loan and all along had no intention of helping me out, but merely went through the motions quickly.
