Fleetwood Manufactured Homes/Coachman Homes Ripoff! Benton, Kentucky; O Fallon, Missouri

We purchased our double wide in 2003. Since that time
we have had leaks, sagging roof, bad carpet(finally
replaced but not installed correctly), bow in cabinets,
bowing walls, sagging/bowing or broken roof rafters,
windows and doors that don't fit properly,windows not
even attached to house, dropping ceiling panels.

The list goes on and on. Fleetwood sent out contractors
which outright refused to do the work or harassed and
badgered us. And now they complain because these
things keep showing up due to inspections or just arise
out of this house being "CRAP". Then the retailer,
Coachman Homes is no better.

Now the retailer expects us to vacate the house for two weeks, at our expense, so they can make changes and repairs that should have been done at the beginning. The installer used the incorrect straps and anchors. Did not level the home correctly, ground the house or put the electric wire for AC in the conduit to protect it. We have spent over $5,000 on an attorney and still have junk and are out more money. The shower door fell and hit Glenda in the head and shoulder.

The whole shower was installed incorrectly it looked and in fact was crooked. The house isn't even setup correctly. They used the wrong straps and anchors, it isn't level and it has damaged some of the boards underneath. Now Coachman Homes want us to vacate for two weeks at our expense. Coachman has already had the PSC on there backs about set up issues.

We need help and we have tried every avenue available. We are not the only ones that encountered these problems. The list goes on and on. Fleetwood wants us to accept $1500, NO REPAIRS and release them from this situation.
