OK, FIRST OFF, Kathy and the other hatin' chick must be butt a*s UGLY to even make such demeaning statements about the aestetic's of the clientele at the establishment in question. These acusations are just off the wall and just plain made up! Danny and Leo must've laughed at your UGLY asses and thats why you are so mad.

Second, there is NO DRUGS in this place, EVER. The bartenders and owner are against any of that every occuring. To make a statement that Coke is being done off the bar in the year 2007 hunny just blatenely shows you don't go out very much. That stuff happened in like Studio 54 like 30 years ago, not now!!! You pretty much make it known that you are just LYING.

NOW, getting back to the owners starting fights!!! WTF are you talking about. I have been FREQUENTING (unlike you, obvioulsy) this bar for years now and NEVER have I seen this happen. NEVER. Diane is one of the sweetest, most genuine, and honest woman I know. She would take the shirt of her back for someone she knows....How dare someone start these LIES.

In the end, the truth comes out and liars like yourselves end up losing, like the losers that you are......you have a LOT of time on your hands to make up lies about honest, hard working people in attempt to deface the character of a lovely, welcoming establishment where myself and my other FEMALE friends feel safe and secure.

Upon reading this horrid report about Fleming's in Astoria, I was absolutely beside myself. I could not imagine that whoever writing this report has frequented Fleming's. The things that are said about Leo, Danny, & Diane are absurd. It is obvious that someone had a bad experience with 1 of the 3 and is now out trying to hurt them. Since moving to Astoria from Long Island I have found Fleming's to be my second home. As a female, it is the ONLY bar I would ever feel safe going to alone. It has been 2 years now that I have been a regular patron of Fleming's and have made some of my best friends from hanging out at this bar. It has a great outdoor seating area where you can share good conversation and good laughs. The only times I have personally seen someone being thrown out of this bar is because they have bothered another customer or because they are trying to close the bar. Any fight that I have seen, and I've only seen one maybe two there, was because both people were extremely drunk, never have I seen any of the bartenders hit any male or female. It is ashame that someone would speak about the people that work at Fleming's in this manner, they are some of the greatest and nicest people I have ever met and would do anything for any of their regular customers if need be.

First off I want to say that both of the previous statements are for the most part; untrue. My friends and I (female friends) have been attending this bar for a while now and I must say that we love it. Danny and Leo are great bartenders who have never once disrespected any one of us. I am not saying the bar or the atmosphere is always perfect but we go there because we know we are safe there.

We can go into any other bar in Astoria (or anywhere else for that matter) and get into a fight, attacked, raped, or god knows what else. We go to Fleming's Bar because we know the bartenders are bottom line "Great Guys" we have never once faced a situation where our life was in question or scared to be in that bar. Are there fights there? Sure. Whenever you put a bunch of drunk people with different views in a room together, there will always be a problem, but again the bartenders usually keep it under control.

We have been going to Fleming's for a while now, and not once have I seen anyone doing drugs on top of the bar. If you are going to attempt to kill the small reputation Fleming's already has, please get your facts straight! Have we seen fights there? Sure. Have we seen Diane, Danny or Leo throw people out of the bar? Sure. They are there to take care of the other patrons inside, as well as serve drinks. It is their decision on who to throw out, if a person is disruptive, or argumentative, they have every right to use this power to get rid of that person. I have never seen Leo or Danny hit any female or for that matter even disrespect one. Whatever reason the previous writers have for attacking this bar, and these bartenders are unknown, uncalled for and 10000% untrue.

My friends and I have been going to this bar for years and are VERY good friends with all the bartenders there, and none of which was said in this report happened. It is a discrace that someone has absolutely no life and will try to bring a business down on false pretenses. If you have something personal with someone and just want revenge, that is YOUR problem. Fleming's bar is a great place to hang out and everyone is friendly.
