Good experience with Florida Armory

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Friday, January 16, 2009

I'm going to have to be the devil's advocate here. I purchased a Colt 6920 AR-15 carbine from Florida Armory over the phone on Tuesday (01-13-09) and had them put it on my credit card. They told me that it was going out the same day. Well, it came in today to my FFL dealer's store (Friday, 01-16-09), and I just did the transfer paperwork and picked it up. I must say the gun is absolutely beautiful! Yes, the price is a little high, but no more than what most places are charging for that gun at this time. I'm sorry that so many people have (allegedly) had a negative experience with them, but mine was definitely positive. Just goes to show you that you can't believe everything you read on the internet. Oh, and BTW, I do NOT work for Florida Armory.

They ARE the same company

AUTHOR: David - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Sunday, November 30, 2008

Hey Matt, how can you keep denying that Florida Gun Works and Florida Armory are not related when according to public records, they are owned by the same people ( Karl and Myrna Taylor)?

Do you understand that Florida public records shows in detail that these two individuals own both companies? Please stop insulting our intelligence by denying that Florida Gun Works and Florida Armory are the same company. Now that it has been established, what are you guys hiding from?

In Response to Matt

AUTHOR: Jason - (U.S.A.)

Matt, I really can't believe your still on here trying to defend your "buisiness", and I use that term very loosely.
I personally only found this website AFTER waiting 2 months for an item that was never going to arrive. I made several attempts over the course of ONE MONTH to contact your company through email and telephone with no sucess. Only after sending an email threating to press charges and reverse the billing on my credit card did I get a response, FROM YOU. YOU lied and told me that item had already been shipped weeks ago and I should have recieved it (which I had not). I contacted Fed-Ex to see if any package had been delivered to my home from your company, they informed me that a shipping label had been printed out by Florida Gunworks, but no pick-up of that package had ever been made.
Matt, if YOU lied to me then about my "purchase", (and I use that term loosely also) then how can you expect to be taken as an honest representative of Florida Gunworks now????

This WEBSITE IS A JOKE!

AUTHOR: Matt - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 09, 2008

I know this customer, he emailed me and all was OK. This consumer received his items as do all of our customers. They place their orders, then research this rediculous site and start getting nervous, then they file a complaint here before even giving time to receive their orders..All of these posts and the assumptions that we are currently associated with Florida Armory are incorrect. If any current customer has a problem with an order he can simply email me at floridagunworks@aol.com and any problems will be solved, that simple! We have been in business for many years for a good reason.

PS: I have noticed that any company that is worth anything is on this rediculous website. IE: WALMART, ALIENWARE, DELL, BURGER KING, you name it. It is also worthy to note that the owner of this website is currently in hiding and under indictment. He allows all kinds of posts on companies and then tries to extort the posted companies for money in order to remove their negative posts.
