Florida Metropolitan University; now Everest University The compaany put loans agaist me. saying I took out loans and didn't finish the class or I started a class and didn't pay them it was not my doing they didn't file for the loans after I had sent them Brandon, Florida

I attended Everest Online in 2007and had a bad feeling with the whole refund check thing. I stoped going and letter on 2008 I re-entered. I left them again in Dec 2009. They promise me money back then when the money was supposed to come and didn't.  I gave them a call and they said I would not be getting anything back.Everest on line told me the full tuition was put on grants that would not have to be paid back.  After being in school I realize when I want to apply for another pell grant that the finacial aid office never put any of the tuition on pell grant or any kind of grant it had all been put on to student loans that would have to be paid back. When I asked why this was done without my consent financial aid told me that I didn't qualify for financial aid, This was told to me after the facts.

I asked for my transcript and received it. I went to another college and en-rolled , I was accepted in, however when I went to  sign up, go on my fafsa and change my school codes. Then send in the slip for my transfers then they tell me I not only owe the 24,000.00 in student loans but I still owe the school 6500.00 before I can get my transcripts.  If all of this was a loan and the school got there money off the loans why do I still have a balance with what ever Everest is calling themselves. 3 different names for one college. WOW!  Someone please help and let me know what I can do. They should not be aloud to get away with this. I have also included an e-mail I got from the school, It reads: 

I was just informed by Sallie Mae that the Master Promissory Note (MPN) they have on file for you has been cancelled.  Before your student loans can disburse Sallie Mae must have a valid MPN on file.  Please click on the below link and follow the steps for completing a new MPN for your Federal Stafford Loan as soon as possible. 

Also, you must apply for Sallie Maes Smart Option loan for the prior balance you have with us.  You can apply for the Smart Option Loan by clicking the below link to Sallie Mae and following the steps for applying.

In another e-mail this was said:
