I was contacted by a woman from Agents Travel Network and told that if I would try their discount travel club free for one month I would receive airline and hotel vouchers to anywhere I wanted, no black-out dates. I could simply call to cancel if I decided it wasn't for me.

I thought that sounded good. My mom had done something similar with good results so I said, ok.
She took my bank account number so that if I decided to keep the club they could bill me. Makes sense.
I was also told I would get a free trial from TeleFlex long distance and my account information would be shared with them. I said no. I told the nice lady I already had long distance and was very happy with it. I asked her to not sign me up for the free trial from TeleFlex.

I was then told there would be a vacation to Florida that I could purchase if I wanted. She said it would be in the catalog and if I decided to purchase it I could, but I didn't have to.

I got the envelope from Agents Travel. My free trial was not a month, but two weeks. It also said they must receive WRITTEN notice of cancellation. I hurridly got my cancel notice in the mail. BTW, no free vouchers!
On top of that, I got a notice of my free trial with, guess who! TeleFlex. Oh, and they had my account information! The info. I asked the lady NOT to give them!
The next thing I got in the mail was from Florida Passport with info on the *optional* Florida vacation. I had not been told that I would have to call and cancel that or $149 would be taken from my account! The date to cancel by was Jan. 19. I got it in the mail Jan. 20! I called and cancelled immediately, but my account was billed anyway.

Then my account was billed $60 by Agents Travel! I called, was put on hold, was DISCONNECTED! I called bach, finally got a person and was told I should have called to cancel, not written! They said I would be refunded. I was. Then they billed me again!
I did receive refunds for everything, but it was huge hassle for nothing! I have three children under two and not a lot of time to call three different companies to get back my money!

Please do not believe what these people tell you! They are out to make a buck of those who don't have the time to check it out!
