This company is a big scam. Ed Humphrey showed up within an hour and spent long time to convince me to re-roof. He is good at computer and technical details so we trusted him and gave him the job. He brought an worker to accompany him to gain my trust. He showed his compassion about the roof situation and he quaranteed he would do a perfect job. He showed his company is a member of Better Business Bureau. No complaint
history. After he took the money, NOTHING happened. He came up with numerous excuses to re-assure me it would only take one day to re-roof. My $ 5420 was gone. The permit was expired and insurance was not able to renew.

I tried with credit card company and bank to stop check payment but all in vain.
The better business burea is a question yet. The government State of Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation is a long process to terminate their license.

I want to gather all the victims to talk to Congressman and credit card company to change the law. The license allows roofer 180 days to finish the job which is too long and set us the average citizen in the worst condition.

We have no way to protect our payments and only when the problem shows up. We cannot afford lawyer to chase the money back. This is not just one bad company but many are still there.

UPDATE

AUTHOR: Melissa brunner - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, January 22, 2008

The company is untraceable. The summon cannot be served at all since the office was not open. The leasing manager advised the company's registered agent Rafael Estrada moved out of the registered address 8 months ago. This all shows the company intentionally to collect money from victims and knew nobody can track them down. Most of people gave up after several attemps. But they get away and still keep repeating the same scam to all different people.
