Florida Window and Door Scott Berman Palm Beach Gardens Florida

February 22nd 2016 entered into contract with them to do hurricane impact windows and doors on my house. The deal was to have it done by end of April 2016. They required 50% to secure the "good" deal I was getting which I provided with a check. 

February 23rd they contacted me to schedule an appointment for the final measurements to be done by one of their technicians. Their first avaialble appointment was March 1st 2016 which I accepted.

March 14th they email me documents to sign for my permit. Which I sign and return the same day. At this point thinking all is going as per schedule and promise.

I email them on April 7th asking them what status was on the install as it was getting close to my trip and I wanted to make sure it was all still ok. The sales rep calls me (Seth Sethi) and says that he just "discovered" talking to main office that there was an issue with the front door I had selected. He asked if he could come by that day and talk it through with me. I confirmed ok. Upon his arrival he informs me that due to an issue with the size we needed to choose a different version front door, and that he was so sorry and uppset that he had not been told sooner by the head office. Cause now over a month after taking my money nothing had been produced and happened. He promised me he would go straight to the office the next day and talk to Scott and find out now when they could do the job they had promised.

Next day I get an email that they can start June 6-16th 2016 pending weather. Now I was really frustrated and lost complete faith in the company and cancelled the contract and requested to get my deposit back. They inform me that that was very unfortunate, but of course I would get my money back - they just had to get their lawyers to write a cancellation contract first for me to sign before they could release my funds. They would get that to me mid this week - April 13th 2016.

April 14th and after asking for where the contract is and my check - I get no respons from them. Tried to both call and email with no reply. Scott Berman is not available and the contract lady Jody is not answering her phone either.

Here I am now stuck with no money and no windows!
