We have been billed by Flycell.com for the past two months, without our consent, for a service that we definitely did NOT sign up for. They claim to have a "double-opt-in" policy, where you have to respond affirmatively by text message as well as on their website, but neither of these events took place, and obviously they have no any proof that any of these events took place.

They have been billing our cell phone for the past two months, without our knowledge, for some kind of "premium text message service" we never used. Since our bill is automatically charged to our credit card, we only figured this out by a fluke because we had to call our cell provider's (Verizon) customer service on another matter.

This company does not have a telephone number on their site to speak to a live customer service representative (red flag right there, no?), so there was no way for us to complain to a human being. They had an email address, but they weren't exactly very helpful. No surprise there.

I suspect that this company deliberately signs up customers either without their knowledge, or under false pretenses, as I have found many webistes with customers complaining about this company's practices. Here's a list of just a few websites I came across:

Since we paid our phone bill by credit card, we disputed the portion of the bill that was charged by Flycell. I found it interesting that the credit card customer service person had the EXACT SAME THING happen to HER!!

Moral of the story: check your phone bills carefully. It would be nice to put this company, and the others like them, out of business.
