My situation is not very serious however I am making this statement before FNBM retaliates and report false information to the credit bureau. I have been a customer with them for over 10 years and have always paid on time with a good history. I had the impression that this bank would help you establish credit and reward you for doing well. For ten years I have had an interest rate of 18%, this was my first credit card and during that time many other creditors have offered and given better rates and haven't known me no where near as long as FNBM. After ten years I asked for my interest rate to be lowered and they refused me. I paid my account off in full and told them to close my account; I think this is very bad business.

Some dimwit company I have a credit card with notified me by mail that my interest rate was going to 17.99%. Are they stupid? Haven't used the card for years. I know, now that they sent me the notice, I'll run out and charge it up to the max. The other card I use and pay off each month are at 5% and 7%.
