I have owned a lot of cars in my life. I have never had one that failed mechanically as bad as this one did after so few miles.

When we 1st got this car, it seemed nice enough.

Then we drove it for a while. After 50,000 miles, the Fuel Injector failed. It did not get plugged up, or fail for some good reason, it just quit working.

We rely on this car to get us back and forth, so we had to get it fixed right then, It costs us $400 to replace and clean the others.

We contacted Ford because 50,000 miles is way to young in a cars life to have the fuel injectors fail.

Their response was that it was not their fault. They told us that we should have taken it to a Ford Dealer. A ford deal would have charged us 3 or 4 times what a normal repair place did. Plus we did not have time to go through all the hoops and such to get this arranged.

 So going to Ford Corporate was useless. Also, when we got this car, it shifted a little rough, but we did not think much of it. It is a select shift, which means that you can put it in manual and treat it sort of like a manual.

It shifts like a manual. Manuals are often rough shifting. We did not think much of this at first, but over time, it has gotten a lot rougher.

We are not happy with this car. My advice to anyone that is looking at the Ford Fusion is to look elsewhere.

This car is not reliable and neither is Ford the company.
