Foreclosure Agency - Home Centrix Scam artists stealing money Austin Texas

I am looking to buy a home and I called the Foreclosure Agency after I heard a radio add for a free list of foreclosed homes in my area available for purchase. The agent, Ronnie, said it cost $9.95 for shipping and I had 10 days to cancel or I'd be charged $29.95 a month. I confirmed several times with him that I would only be charged the $9.95 and I could cancel and be charged nothing more. He further said that that was correct.
I received the list a few days later and it wasn't helpful at all in finding homes. I then checked my bank account and realized that these people charged me twice for $9.95. I called on the 10th day and cancelled the subscription and told them that they had double charged me. They then told me that I had been charged for Foreclosure Agency and Foreclosure Finance. Apparently when Ronnie the sales rep had been reading his script to me, it was made to sound as if he was simply repeating himself and getting confirmation but he was really charging me for two different services, which is a very deceptive way to do business. I then demanded to speak to a supervisor and I was placed on hold and then was hung up on. I tried to call back several times and was given voicemail of the supervisor and no one ever returned my calls. I checked my bank account a few days later and found that on the same day I cancelled the service, the 10th day, I was charged two additional charges of $29.95.

I have called this company several times and can never be connected to a supervisor. I have left several messages and none have been returned.

These scam artists need to be stopped. They are preying on people and some may not be as vigilant and are being scammed each month and week for money.
