Forsythe Appraisals, LLC Poorly done Appraisal , Internet

Forsythe Appraisals recently appraised our house and appraised it at $13,000 below another appraisal we had completed a couple of weeks prior.  In fact, not one house in our immediate neighborhood has sold at their appraisal price of our home.  The appraiser did not use any home sales from our immediate neighborhood (there were quite a few from the last 3-4 months).  Instead the appraiser chose homes that were not in our immediate neighborhood.  I have several MLS listings of homes that sold in the last few months that were within .3 of a mile from our home.  The appaiser did not use any of those listings.  A careful analysis of our neighborhood (I have a masters in statistical analysis by the way) would show that our home prices have been affected by the new home sales in the area and thus have been selling at a higher rate than most other neighborhoods.  When asked to review the appraisal (and we even sent the other appraisal that we had done), they chose not to re-analyze.  HUGE waist of our money.  Do not waist yours if you can help it on this company.  Very disappointed.
