My wife gave me a coupen she clipped from "the flyer" about a Grand Opening special for this office.  It was for a $35.00 "new patients cleaning, dental exam and necessary x-rays".  I called, mentioned the ad, made the appointment and then went to their office 2 days later.

After completing their intake survey, I was invited to a little room with a dentist chair and immediately made to take 6 x-rays of all sides of my mouth before any checkup whatsoever, so much for "necessary x-rays".  About 20 minutes later a lady I guess is this Trujillo DDS shows up to tell me I have 'pockets' and they have a special treatment consisting of a deep cleansing and special chemical that need to go inside the gums in order to get rid of these pockets or else.  Also 2 small cavities but that was not a big concern.

She leaves, in comes the lady that took me in and starts all over again with the pockets, I said it was already explained to me and then she proceeds to tell me I need to pay 1900.00 for the service, when I told her I am not interested at the moment in 2 thousand dollars worth of "Cleansing" for my mouth and i would now just take my cleaning, she almost screams that it is only a 'polish', like 'why would you even bother?'.  In any case I politely insist in getting my cleaning and she leaves.  After a few minutes in comes the 'doctor' saying that she cannot do a normal cleaning of my teeth, she can only do the 'deep' one so I thank her for wasting my time, called her a ripoff artist and left the office.

I'm reporting this so everyone will know what happened to me but I know the real punishment is the one they are doing to themselves, if they had done the cleansing who knows, maybe I would have also done the cavities or whatever, now there is no way on earth I would ever go back, and like me, there must be a bunch of people, local people and potential customers for them that are doing a really good job of telling everyone they know how these people offer you a reasonably priced service and once you get to their office they try to get you to buy something in the price range of a used car without consulting with anyone and if you don't they just kick your but out on the street.
