Four Seasons Nursery - Plantron false advertising, failed to produce merchandise, failed to refund money as promised Bloomington Illinois

I purchased $98.00 worth of products from four seasons nursery, aka plantronn inc. products began arriving in 4 weeks after my order, when my check was cashed within 4 days. [ i live two hours from bloomington]

first box arrived in good condition, it was a strawberry bed, one of those three tiered planting beds you use for strawberries. i have yet to be able to put it together...it is junk. junk, junk...

second box was size of a postcard and held three ''potted'' plants two citrus trees and a banana which had rotted roots to begin with, banana smelled like sewage roots were slimey..i threw it out.

third box never, ever, arrived for spring planting..i called and spoke to a rather crass woman who informed me that they would send them --$50.00 worth of flowering trees- in the fall if i would just be patient...october came and went and i called for the 5th time since august and was told that my items would be shipped this coming spring, '07.

when i asked to speak to a supervisor, i was told that supervisor does not take calls...imagine that, the supervisor cannot answer the phone...wish i had that job...

after several nasty phone calls, from me through all of november and a complaint to the attorney generals office in springfield ill, i recieved a merchandise credit for 34.61.... because they do not give refunds.. when i inquired about the missing 14.00 they said that would not be refunded because they took the shipping charges off for the first two packages... and they were sure to tell me that no part of this certificate could be applied to shipping and handling.

so, they sent substandard merchadise, failed to send a large portion of other merchandise for 8 months, and send a replacement certificate to purchase more of their merchandise.

so far this month, i have gotten 17 garden catalogs...but none from four seasons..wonder what i shall do with this certificate...

maybe i will pin it to the wall in the bath, incase we run out of tissue...
