I'll make this brief and to the point- Four Seasons Sunroom 'FSSR' Curved Glass Panels are defective and will shatter without warning (at least I have given you a warning). We purchased our home with a Sun Room- it was the feature that attracted us to the home. Within five months a curved glass panel had shattered- FSSR tried to get out of replacing it saying 'the warranty was not transferable'. Then they did replace it stating 'the curved glass panels from that period were defective and had manufacturing inconsistencies'. We still had to cover the installation cost which was over $400.00 that was in 2004, and the replacement was in 2005.
This week WW38-39 we had two (2) more curved glass panels shatter, and it isn't even getting cool enough for frost yet! When contacting FSSR again we are given the run around. The point of fact is that FSSR franchises can go out of business at anytime and leave you sunk! The quality is really garbage- a car has a Lemon Law to protect the consumer, but spend 30K for a FSSR Solarium Sun Room and you are SOL.
Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from a glass enclosed room as possible- they say 'a person who lives in a glass house shouldn't throw rocks', but this room throws them for you! Now I am going to have to spend time I don't have- getting people who won't help, fix something that they manufacture but are not responsible fore.
Four Seasons Sun Rooms- you'd be lucky to get through 'One Season' and that is a bad one!
