Frances & Jeff Todd Sold a VERY ill puppy to me then ignored my emails and attempts to contact about pups health. Newnan Georgia

I purchased a mini dachshund puppy from Frances Todd on Feb. 3rd of 2006. She met me at a gas station because she claimed her adult dachshunds were going bald from a disease they had caught from neighborhood dogs through the fence.

She brought 3 puppies for me to choose from. 2 short hair black and tan females and 1 long hair black and tan male. The two females had bald spots and looked sickly. I picked the male and took him to the vet two days later because severe scratching.

The vet ran different tests and could never cure the scratching and hair loss. The pup was anemic and loaded with hookworms. My vet ask me to contact the breeder and warn her that the other pups would die without medical attention.

After at least 3 emails attempt with no response I went ahead and filed a report with the department of agriculture. She later responded and said the other pups from that litter were fine and she refused to admit the puppy was sick because of her neglect.

My vet told me in order for the hookworms to be so severe in that puppy it meant he had never seen a vet and never been dewormed nor vaccinated.

Frances Todd never apologized, she never reimbursed any of my money and she never replaced my puppy!
