Franklin Management (Frank Gump President) claims to have access to "the hidden job market" which they will use to help clients in their job search.  It requires an up front fee of $1895 to begin the process at which time you are to select 25 companies you would like to work for.  Franklin Management will then theoretically contact hiring managers and high level corporate management in an effort to secure an interview for you. 

What actually happens is Franklin Managment merely embarks on an email campaign sending your resume to the selected companies and awaiting a response.  In my particular case I selected a number of companies which I know had open positions for which I was qualified in the hope of increasing my chances of securing an interview.  After the initial process of sending my resume to the selected companies and getting zero response Franklin Management will send a second round of emails.  Not surpisingly this also resulted in NO response from any of the companies. 

The next step in the process is Franklin Management sends the client the list and has the client send the same email and resume to the same people.  Also resulted in zero results. 

Franklin Management does have a performance guarantee that if you get no interviews from the initial search they will go through the same process for an additional 25 companies.  When I discussed this with Frank Gump he wanted to charge an additional $500 which I refused to pay and after a very heated discussion he agreed to fulfill the performacne guarantee with no additional cost.  Unfortunately as it was the same process it resulted in the same result; no responses. 

I will stop short of calling this a scam.  It is just an ill conceived job search model.  It is simply not worth the money.  You will be much better off working with reputable recruiting firms which do not charge up front fees and have much greater success.
