Franny's Floor Mat Motors I think I'm being ripped off , I'm in the car deal from hell so I'm using this as my daily diary of my dealings with Larry from Franny's Floor Mat Motors .. Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I found the place off craigslist and looked at it April 20th ,, April 24th I gave them 620 dollars and agree'd to finance the remaining 1800 . The 99 Amigo needed a catalytic converter and new tires in order to pass inspection and I was told the work would be done as soon as I gave them the deposit . The motor had also been replaced and was told the work had been done on premises . I was told the car would be ready April 25th ...but ... Then I was told the welding machine was stolen and that he was getting a new one on monday April 27th and the car would be ready that day . Then april 28th It was a welder coming to weld it for them , April 29th said they were working on it now and just give them till thursday April 30th . I live about 45 minutes from the shop so I get a ride up there and Larrys not there and the Amigo was just were I saw it the week before with no work done to it . The next week May 1st to May 8th it was waiting for tires , then ofcourse the tire truck never showed up but as soon as it did I would have my 99 Amigo . Week 3 ..May 11th thru May 15th now its waiting for the catalytic converter that was never put on and the tires that he had orderd .. May 16th the Amigo is finally done and the catalytic converter was put on but had the same bald tires that were on it when I first saw it . Larry said that he told Monroe Muffler ( were the welding was done ) to replace what ever tires would'nt pass inspection ?? At this point ...??? So I pay 35 bucks for a temp tag and put 10 bucks worth of gas in it and made it about 10 miles down the street before the Amigo was full of smoke and there was oil pouring out of the rear main seal . I pull over on rt 76 and the motor shuts off and wont turn over .. So i get a ride off the freeway from a cop and the 99 Amigo was towed back to Franny's , now he tells me that its the starter ??? I asked him to just give me my money back and he told me that its not like buying a sweater I can't just return it .. So as of today he has a new starter for it and is putting it in as I type . I have yet to complete the paperwork or provide all the info for the loan but I have already signed the title .. I either want the 99 Amigo or my 620 dollars back , but I doubt I'll see either anytime soon .. I plan on posting daily till this situation is resolved ... And if Larry is reading this stop bullshiting me and either give me my $620 or my 99 Amigo ..
