Destroyed the concept of family and comunity involvement in the work place! Employee reduction through intimidation and unatainable goals. Replacement of union jobs for contract labor. No longer donates anything to the local community. Most employees spend it where they earn it in chehalis at Wallmart.

Fred Meyer does still donate to local communities.  Every single Fred Meyer store is given a certain dollar amount to donate to local communities every month and it is given out by the store director to causes within a 50 mile radius of each store. 

I don't know about your union problems, but we are happy with our 555 union here in Portland Oregon.  If there is indeed a problem with employee intimidation then I don't know why someone doesn't take some action and go to the union or local employment office! 

As far as spending money at Walmart I am shocked that anyone would lower themselves to spend money at Walmart, a company known for treating thier employees with no respect and making them work off the clock!  Walmart is always in the news for breaking employment laws!!!  Fred Meyer pays beneifts for part timers even which few employers do anymore.
