I signed up for freecreditreport.com.
This is far from free. They make it impossible to find the option for your 'free' credit report. They force you to pay to see anything at all.
To make matters worse they continue to bill you monthly until you cancel stating only that it says somewhere on the site that this is going to happen. Then they send emails to you, when you click through the emails there is no mention that you are being charged.
The report they send you is just what any of the three cedit report companies would send and the don't give you a credit score.
When I called and complained requesting my credit card be refunded they quickly stated their 'no refund policy' over and over again, brushed me off and said 'go ahead' when I threatened to take it to the attorney general.
What a scam these credit agencies have become. STAY AWAY!! Do not spend money for your 'free' credit report.
In 2005 it bacame possible to recieve a free annual credit repot once a year.
