Freedom Financial Solutions-James Parson, Vince Reilly, Took 3 months payment for a secured loan and never sent the loan money Ripoff New York New York

I tried to help my brother by lending him money to secure a loan. He was guaranteed to receive a loan for $5000 from Freedom Financial Solutions (a company he read about in our local newspaper), to be wired to him immediately after they received 3 months worth of payments ($340). I was sceptical from the start and insisted that he get a contract and research the company. They faxed him a 10 page contract (which they never required to be signed by the way) spelling out the procedure which seemed legit. My brother told me he checked out the company, but he did not tell me the truth. I also found out after the fact that he was required to wire the money to a private lender because the banks they deal with would not approve the loan. So he wired the money to a James Parsons in Abbots Ford, British Columbia, Canada who was supposed to send him $5000 within an hour. When my brother called the company to tell them that he had sent the $340, they explained that they would have to mail him the check and that he would get in 3-5 business days. When it did not arrive we called them back and they claimed computer problems and said the check was sent out at the end of the week - a lie! It never arrived and that was 3 weeks ago. The company has now stopped answering any calls and Vince Reilly, their rep, has not returned any messages. When I finally started reseaching the company and calling them myself (which I should have done from the start - dumb of me!) I soon realized that there is no such legitimate company...their web address is a generic "Network Solutions" with no link to the actual company. The phone is not even answered with a statement of the company name or anything official indicating a legitimate company called Freedom Financial Solutions.

When I searched the name James Parson, I did get a link to some financial whiz in Abbotsford, BC. Same guy?...I don't know. Can anyone help? I am dismayed by the dishonesty of people and by the stupidity of my brother and my blind trust of him. I should have known better. I can hardly afford to lose even $3 much less $340!
