Run away! These predators take advantage of low income families who are in a bind and need a vehicle. The salesperson and receptionists say all or cars are in good condition and running fine. On our one car we were told it needed new brakes and all oil change. Two days later we were out of a car and all our money. DO NOT BUY A BOTTLE OF WATER FROM THERE!We bought the vehicle and signes the AS_IS warranty based on what the salesperson said. The trick is that they pretend to be honest by telling you about defects on one or two cars that you show interest in. Then when you're out of time and more likely to make a rush decision they quickly point out a "GREAT" car to you and say "IT RUN'S GREAT!"
That company is an abomination in the Philadelphia community. They should be shut down. Innocent newbies who have no idea and are students of families new to the area get robbed because they choose to trust a business as being true to it's word. DO NOT BUT A CAR THERE! If you have a job and want a vehicle, I suggest DRIVEHERE.com The interest rate is high but you can walk out with a car for a dollar with and 18 month warranty and they pick up the car and give you a loaner if anything goes wrong.
We had to turn to them after being robbed blind by FRONT STREET AUTO!

Test Drive???

Did you take this thing on a test drive where you would have discovered the BREAKS were BROKE?
Do you know what the term "AS IS" means? Do you know what it means to buy a car without a warranty?
Since you say the BREAKS are BROKE....I'll bet if you look a little further you'll find a bad CADILLAC CONVERTER and quite possibly a bad TRANSMIXER.

An honest used car dealer? Really?

" The salesperson and receptionists say all or cars are in good condition and running fine. "
Every used car dealer in the country will say that about the cars on their lot.
" We bought the vehicle and signes the AS_IS warranty based on what the salesperson said. "
That will get you in trouble at any car lot. The paper that said "This vehicle is being sold as-is with no warranty by the seller" means exactly that. If something goes wrong after you leave the lot, it's your problem. The only way to safely buy an "as is" vehicle is to have it checked out by a mechanic before you buy it. Anything less is just rolling the dice with your money. That applies to any used car lot. Time will tell if you were lucky when you rolled the dice with the second dealer.

How is this a Ripoff?

Which one of the staff at the lot held you hostage to "Force" you to sign the "As-Is" papers? I predict this isn't your first misfortune on a purchase, or your last.
Anyone relying on a car salesman's word without written documentation and independent assessment of the vehicle is indeed asking for this very type of trouble.
Sorry you got taken, but hope you'll be more careful in the future.
