Fry's Electronics, Pacific Digital $40 Rebate ripoff Woodland Hills California

I bought CD burner at Fry Electronic on 08/13/2002. There was $40.00 rebate offered by Pacific Digital on that item. Right there at the store, myself and the sales person made copies of everything that was requested to be sent to Pacific Digital for rebate. Original receipt, rebate form and UPS code from the box were put in the envelope and sent out.

Shortly I received from Pacific Digital note that the rebate was denied due to the following reason: "Complete original UPS label from box not included". I contacted Fry Electronic customer service department and spoke to there representative. Her name is Cassandra. She asked me to fax my copies to her, which I did. I was waiting for the few days and then called the store. Cassandra was unavailable to talk to me, but someone else told me that this is the issue with Pacific Digital. "Take it to them". Fry Electronic is not responsible.
