I was excited to enroll and begin my dream of entering the Music Business through Full Sail's Online Music Business program. Even though I wanted to enroll in the Music Business Program, the admissions person enrolled me into the Music Production program instead. I'm not fully sure why, but I went ahead and continued after noticing the admissions person $60,000 error.

I was enrolled and doing just fine with everything and passing courses for about 7-9 months when I had to relocate to Saint Louis for my job and hours became much longer, etc. We all know how adulting can be, especially when you're now doing everything on your own without your support group both financially and personally. However, I still managed to do my work through Full Sail Online.

Unfortunately, around that time I began to fail a couple of courses, and Full Sail would just automatically restart those courses without any communication to me, etc. Which I thought was odd, considering most universities give you a notice about the failed courses and help you create a timeframe of when to retake them etc, etc, etc. But No! Full Sail just continued to reload these courses up to three (3) times with zero communication to me about extra charges of about $1600 per course. Give or take.

At the time of all this, my job had me in work overload and kept me moving from location to location to location, which caused me to fall behind on my planned courses and my life overall.  Also, at this time, I began to hit a financial blow to my income as I was being laid off from my overly worked job after two-years of commited service and continued promotions. At which time I gave Full Sail a Withdrawal notice, which they didn't accept at first, but eventually allowed me to withdraw in July or August of 2012.

After withdrawal, I recieved a bill for a few dollars shy of $6,000. I was highly confused considering everything was paid for and I withdrew before the new school term started. So I called the Financial Aid office and spoke with someone about what these charges were for etc and that's when I was informed of the "extra classes" mentioned above. I stated that I didn't take any extra classes, and only remained on the schedule which was provided by Full Sail University. I also mentioned that I failed a course or two that was scheduled for the same month. That's when they told me they kept reenrolling me in those two courses for three (3) months straight because I kept failing. However, I was not aware of this and it didn't state in any contract that I "automatically" give permission to retake a failed course three times.  During that time frame of those "extra retake courses" I was withdrawing from the University all together!  Yet, I still somehow ended up being charged $6,000 in courses and fees that I never took.

I want Full Sail University to remove ALL of the charges on my student account in the amount of $6,000 and also allow my Official Transcript to be released without any holds or liens.

Did you get things figured out?

This same thing happened to me! I have been stuck in the same class for 6 months straight and basically owe Full Sail University $10,000 for one class. Nobody returns my phone calls and I can't even get a hold of anybody when I call - they screen all of their calls. This school is a joke of an 'institution'.
