Fun Sales Inc door to door rip off Golden Colorado

In early November two 18 y/o gentlemen knocked on our door. They were selling magazines for some school thing. Since I had once sold them I thought oh wow i can support someone now too. Well turns out the company they are selling for is not so nice.

On the receipt it clearly says to give it 120 days to get to you, long time but okay fine. So months go by, of course the check was checked instantly, no magazines. We get an odd phone call asking to provide my husbands last 4 ssn or his mothers maiden name to verify who he was and since it was taking so long for the magazine to get here they would throw in another. Well still no magazines. So my first attempt to contact them and no luck but i can leave a message so i do. A week or two goes by and i realzie nobody called me back so i call again.

I am much more persistent this time and call until i finally reach someone (between calls i filed a report with the BBB). The lady i called tells me what we ordered is no longer printed its online only so they are sending something else to us. I tell her i want my money back and she responds with we didnt get your cancellation before 3 days... well yeah at 3 days i was getting magazine X, now at god only knows how many days i'm getting y and its not even here. She tells me they are a fulfillment center and she can't do anything (but steal money)..funny thing is they aren't fulfilling this.

Then the lady hung up on me and wouldn't answer any more calls...even her answering thing was changed.


I'm pissed i could use that $63 and buy a magazine that actually be delivered to my home... the only kids i'm supporting are the girl scouts.. least i walk away with cookies.
