I recieved a call stating i qualified for a credit card with a 2400.00 credit limit, all I had to pay was 299.00 one time fee. Well my account is to be debited Monday and I have found out after calling the phone number I was given for two solid days and getting a busy signal that i was scammed. I found this site after i couldnt get a listing on the phone number. I have already contacted my bank to let them know that the charge would try to come through, hoping they can stopit. I am not sure what co. name the charge will come under and that may cause a problem. any advice?

You must close your account and open a new one. If you don't, these crooks can help themselves to your money at any time. Thay can also sell your info to other crooks who can rob you. Changing your account will also take care of your current problem.
