Furbueax Graphics Designs Watch out for this ripoff ARTIST! Peoria Illinois

The ripoff artist is actually Jerilyn Cherry of Furbueax Graphics Designs. She's the only employee of the company and basically cold called me one day to design a logo for my business. Jerilyn was very nice and knowledgeable and seemed to have a reputable business. After she gave me her initial pitch, I agreed to meet her, so she could gather more info on my business. At this time, Jerilyn explained that the logo would be complete in two weeks and before going further that she would need a deposit for $500 to create a new logo that would adorn my business awning, business cards, etc.

Well, two weeks went by and no call. So I called her. Jerilyn told me that she was working on something for the city (Peoria, IL) and was a little behind. Being the patient man I am, I asked her to give me a call when it was completed. A week and a half later, no call! Now I'm starting to get concerned. After another call to her, again Jerilyn tells me that she's behind but my logo is almost done and she promises to call me in another week. Well what a surprise that I did not receive another call from Jerilyn one week later as she promised.

So I called her and left a voice mail message. Jerilyn again did not return my call. Two days later I left another voicemail. At this time, I got the sneaking suspicion that my calls are being screened since her main business line is her cell phone. After more than 10 voicemails left over the course of three weeks, still no return calls. I planned to take Jerilyn to Small Claims court and will follow up on this here.

In the meantime, be careful of this artist and her company, Furbueax Graphics Designs, that promises businesses custom designed art, but instead takes their money and is never heard from again.
