This was a high priority load that had very specific qualifications and requirements including a very strict pick-up and delivery appointment times, flawless communication, and GPS tracking that the dispatcher and driver were made aware of. These requirements were agreed upon both in writing and verbal confirmation with the dispatcher and verbal confirmation with the driver before any information about the load was discussed.

The driver made the pickup on time but failed to be at the delivery appointment when scheduled. In actuality, the driver was 8.5 hours late, missed his appointment, and intern we were not paid the full value of the shipment.  Our policy as well as our rate confirmation state that in the event of a late delivery we can charge the contracted party $150 per hour the shipment is delayed. Ergo, that is why Crossways Roads Inc. was charged.

Threw further communication and the fee was dropped down from $150 to only $75 in an effort to continue business with Crossways Roads.

If we would have charged Crossways Roads for the total time allotted to complete this shipment they would have actually owed FX Logistics over $300.

We stand by our decision and believe that the result is more than acceptable for Crossways Roads Inc. We hope to work with them again in the future.
