#2 Consumer Suggestion

What a crock...

AUTHOR: The Fraud Chick - ()

POSTED: Wednesday, November 13, 2002

Steve,

It may be true that the GGW distributors post a notice on the GGW television commercial. But that's their point--that's not ours. Our point is--how do they post that notice? At what point do they post that notice? Is it while the viewer is mesmerized by the salacious promotion of saline and silicone injected beauties? Is the viewer really expected to take his eyes of the bouncing ball to look at microprint? Can these promoters say with a straight face that a testosterone fueled, red-blooded male will be listening to anything other than what number to call? I will guarantee that the promoters dont emphasize that the customers initial purchase gives them leave to continue to debit his credit card, checking account or submit bills for other crappy videos on a monthly basis. No, that wont happenthe commercial emphasizes the male fantasy of girls gone wild to sell the videotape. The commercial in no way emphasizes the sale of a video club or video series.

Come on, folks? How long can a sane human being watch drunken women and porno actresses acting like college girls gone wild bob their breasts at camerasseriously?

Just asking,

#1 Consumer Comment

It says in the commercial

To the previous person, it does say it in the commercial. Like I said in a previous posting I'm not defending the company in any way and thats a business practice to follow up and thats why they get away with deceiving their customers.

And I will also agree that the videos are getting laim. I think any women showing their b***s should tell them to get rid of the camera or face sexual harassment and file against the company.

The company still advertises and then when they burn someones bridges then they'll listen. I was also reading that someone can't get thru. The operators are on. Just press 0 or a certain option and tell them you don't want it. Send it back in the mail. And also on the credit card companies they should cancel.

Amex is helping me out so eveyone else should. I hope this helps.

Please email me back, wanderful@comcast.net
