GA Carmart - Alphacarz Sold vehicle with Undisclosed Unibody Frame Damage Roswell Georgia

In November of 2006, I purchased a 2003 Acura TL from Ga Car Mart now known as Alpha Carz. The carfax report did not report any damage. I actually found out when I had my car appraised at CarMax (I was told it wasn't MaxWorthy but they would buy it from me for $9000). I had just paid $14000 for the car. I thought it was too good to be true and it was. My car hasn't had any problems but I was definitely swindled out of about $5000. I called the salesman who sold it to me to ask him about the unibody damage. He simply said that he doesn't know why CarMax devalues cars like that and the car was perfectly fine. Knowing my rights and that I had just purchased the vehicle as is, I sucked it up and took it as a lesson. CarMax uses Autocheck and I will also for now on. It clearly showed on the Autocheck Report that the vehicle was announced at auction as a vehicle with unibody damage. Carfax is not thorough and you must use it with Autocheck in order to truly protect yourself. Hopefully, you will learn from me before your pockets are $5000 lighter than they should be.
