Gabe Castillo charlatain, confidence trickster, liar, thief San Antonio Texas

Gabe Castillo was going to do several thousands of dollars of work on our home, was paid all but a couple of hundred dollars, over time, and never did complete the work. He told my wife and me that the work would take a couple of weeks, and about two-thirds of the work WAS done---in about seven weeks. On many days, no one would show up at all in the morning, and Gabe would lie about why they didn't, or just not answer his phone at all. Gabe Castillo is an old-style confidence trickster, all form and no substance. What makes it somewhat worse, if that's possible, is that my wife got his contact info from HIS wife, who works at the same place. I wonder if she really knows what a lowlife swine her husband is, or if she condones this kind of thing. I heard from one of the guys that was painting in our house for Gabe, who was looking for Gabe because HE had not been paid, that Gabe's contractors license is no good---that he's been using someone elses'. For your own good, DO NOT employ this man! Be warned.
