Gallagher Bassett Services Surgery Performed, Therapy Approved, Denying tempoary income benefits Bellaire Texas

Injured knee from falling from company truck onto ice. They turned down knee replacement surgery twice, and finally approved it 6 months later, after completing therapy and knee injections.

Had surgery in May. Benefits were paid from Oct thru March.

Now that surgery is completed, I have been approved therapy, but was sent a one time payment for loss of benefits, 1st and final check. They are refusing to pay benefits and I can't return to work for 4 to 6 months.

I have never heard of anyone being approved surgery and therapy and being denied their monthly pay. By the way I was not told this until May 27, 2009. Of course after surgery.

They also refused to fill antibotic medication prescribed by my Doctor. I had to go to the emergency room because of an infection.

Please contact me if anyone has heard of such a situation.
