On Oct 14 i put money down on a car to get for my son and i had to go to my credit union to get financing. It didn't work out so ganley Nissan called me about it and i said i cannot do it and send my money back. they said no and send the receipt to them. I will not send a 500 dollar receipt in the mail. so on sat Oct 26 i drove up there and had to talk to the general manager. I explained the situation and said i wanted my down payment back that i paid in cash. they said no. I asked why  and they said they didn't have the money there ...lets see a open car business a cashier and no money to refund people yet they probably been taking in down payments all day maybe? fishy to me any way i said well i want a check by Tuesday and he started to get mad.

 I stated i will not do business with them anymore and i will post my review on the internet. He said and i quote "don't threaten me or the company" i said i was going to write a review which is my right a complaint. he then said and i quote "i probably cant follow directions with mailing in the receipt which i said was assured and he said i probably didn't follow directions my whole life" Then he threatened me with exposing my whole credit information to the internet and my score and threatened me with getting sued. Then he looked right at me and i quote said " you probably cant afford a attorney any how can you" Now i count that slander twice and a threat from this general manager.

 He made a copy of the receipt and i took the original and i got up and left. This is very unprofessional of a company to use slander and threaten a customer on something they owe me. They knew i wasn't getting the car and knew i was coming for the money yet they cant do it. Some advice for the owners of this dealership if your open for business you should also in faith return the money from the customer you take on faith.

To lighten up this whole mess there are some things that need fixed.

 To ganleys rebuttle first i never agreed to mail a copy of my receipt. The salesperson said to me i need to mail the orignal to the company to get a check. Now i would never mail a orignal 500 dollar reciept in the mail to anyone. Next they knew that i wasnt getting the car why not set aside the money when i got there for me. Next i told the general manager what would happen if my oroginal reciept got lost in the mail? He said and i quote "We have it on record and we would still give you the refund" Now why just not send it to me in the first place when i said i cant get the car? He said and i quote "what happened if i show up and say i didnt get the check?" thats why they needed the original reciept.  Now really if you have it on record of the deposit and even if you mail a check to me and i cash it it would have a bank receipt i got the money right?

Next the general manager was not polite or respectful as stated in my orignal complaint he told me basicly i was stupid and poor and he did threaten me with exposing my information on the internet. Please if you deal with ganley dot your i's and cross your t's with them....get everything in writing and dont take to heart everything they say. All i ask from ganley my money back and a written and signed apology letter from the general manager.

The complaining party was advised that we were unable to secure financing for him.  He and his salesperson agreed that he would mail in a copy of of his receipt for his refund as he lived a distance away.  Instead, he came to he Dealership on Saturday and demanded a refund.  Unfortunately, we did not have that amount of cash on the premise on Saturday nor was any one in to issue a check. 

The complaining party commenced a tirade in my office where there was no possibility of a resolve.  At no time was ther a threat of any sort on my part. Clearly, we would never post anyones personal information or release it.  We are very conscioius of the law.  Further, we are a highly professional and sensative organization that caters to all of our customers needs.  As I advised the complaining party, I would have our administrative offices issue a check today, October 28, 2013, and mail it promptly! Respectfully submitted, Ganley Nissan, Inc.
