Garfield Research Spam, fault business address, a check with instruction involving your bank account Saint Louis Missouri

 recieve in the mail today with a check in the amount of $1,945.36; drafted on a different company name  The McGraw-Hill Companies; dated 7/1/2013; vendor id and check number...it looked to good to be true...the letter offer a customer service position to handle transactions asking me to investigate a list of different establishment ....the funds first had to be activated by this person Mark Thomas..name so common very hard to trace.....I search the business address that doesn't exist in St Louis MO; the phone # showed up on Ripoff and this person took the bait....If it seems to good to be true ....it is don't be afraid to search......anyone sending a check close to 2,000 dollars and you haven't interviewed with the company and there's nothing except a script to get into your private bank account...brings a Red Flag to me....hope this is helpful.
