Garry Norman Selling a car on Canadian Auto Trader www.canadatrader.com Calgary Alberta

Here is the chain of emails. I was suspcious and did a google search and found a Ripoff Report on this site that had an identical first email response as I received. The "fraudster" is now using the name Garry Norman. I notified Auto Trader and his ad has now been removed from their site.

I wasn't expecting the car to be overseas, that puts a different wrinkle on things.

I am still be interested, but I have a few questions:

1) How do you get it here in 14 days? My understanding is that it takes significantly longer to ship by sea and air freight is very expensive.
2) I've never purchased a car without getting it inspected first. Are you willing to ship it with the money begin held in Escrow until the car is delivered / inspected?

The car will be shipped in a cargo,the delivery is included in the price and will take 14 working days.If you are really interested we can close the deal through www.escrow-europa.com (http://www.escrow-europa.com/escrow/english/index.htm) as a third party agency and you'll have a 14 days time period to inspect the car and the documents before deciding to keep it or not. If by any reason, you will not be satisfied with the car, you will return the car to the escrow service with no expense to you.I will take care of all the shipping fees.If you agree with my terms please provide me your name and address where the car should be sent to.The delivery is included in the price and will take up to 14 working days.The car will arrive to your home door.
