In March 2013, I loaned Vision Quest, owned in part by Mike Hogan. $125K by using my credit cards. From May-August 2013, Vision Quest paid my loan payments. In September 2013, Vision Quest stopped paying my bills. They said they were changing banks and were just having 'technical problems' and that all was well, no worries. After a couple months, they said the SEC was holding their money and they would not be making any more loan payments. They told me to call the SEC and try to get our money released. In November 2013, Mike asked me and a few other investers to go with him to a new company he started called Gate Way Investments. He said Vision Quest would pay him to pay my bills. Almost immediately, Mike Hogan stopped taking my telephone calls or responding to my emails. He told me he would contact me after Vision Quest paid him. He said I should not contact Vision Quest myself or it would break the deal.I found out later he had been paid but never paid anything to my bills. After a year, Mike Hogan finally responded to me and told me to file bankruptcy. He said it was the only way I could get out of this mess. Mike Hogan TOOK MY MONEY, REFUSED TO PAY ME ANYTHING THEN TOLD ME TO FILE BANKRUPTCY. The only way he would talk to me is if I played along with the bankruptcy idea. I finally told him no way, he needs to pay my bills as we had a contract. December 2014, Discover card started garnishing my wages, leaving me with less than $800 per month to pay my mortgage, utilities, food, etc. Mike again promised to pay any thing that was garnished and told me again to file bankruptcy. He make one payment to cover the garnishment. It bounced giving me a $20 service charge at my bank. January 2015, now Mike has disappeared. If anyone knows where he is hiding, Won't you please call me. If anyone else has been scammed by this sociopath, please call me. This is my story. I am embarrassed, I feel stupid, I hate telling people, BUT I am speaking out! There is strengh in numbers and we need to find all the people he scammed so the attorneys can see how large this scam reall is. Please call me. Thank you, Stephanie (((Redacted)))
